Philadelphia Marriott West Hotel is currently seeking an individual for the part time position as a Restaurant Host/Hostess in our busy property at West Conshohocken, PA.

What you'll be doing

• Welcome guests and promptly attend to guests needs
• Escorting customers to the dining and bar areas
• Making a great first impression to start the experience
• Share your menu knowledge to assist guests with questions and special requests
• Check-in with guests to assure satisfaction
• Assist the team with cleaning tables, and re-stock tableware and other supplies if needed
• Ensure we provide excellent customer service and a pleasant dining experience to our guests

What we're looking for

• Great conversational skills and teamwork-oriented
• Positive outlook and outgoing personality
• Team Player but can work independently
• Previous serving experience welcomed
• Willingness to pick up shifts as needed including holidays and weekends
• Available to work early morning and or night shifts

This role requires the ability to move and lift up to 25 lbs. Standing, sitting or walking for extended periods of time and ensuring a professional appearance in a clean uniform are also required. Prior or during employment, we'll ask you to complete safety training and certification provided by the company.
