A well-established construction company in San Antonio is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee commercial construction projects . This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who excels at managing field operations, ensuring quality, and delivering projects on time and on budget.
Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day construction activities for commercial projects
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and field staff
- Ensure jobsite compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies
- Monitor project schedules and drive workflow to meet milestones
- Review plans, specifications, and construction documents for accuracy
- Communicate effectively with project managers, architects, engineers, and owner representatives
- Maintain proper documentation, reporting, and site records
- Resolve issues proactively to keep projects on track
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction
- Proven track record of completing commercial projects on time and within budget
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, scheduling, inspections, and trade coordination
- Experience leading crews and managing multiple subcontractors
- Familiarity with construction software and reporting tools
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills
- Ability to work on job sites throughout the San Antonio area
