This role sits at the intersection of data analysis, market intelligence, and product innovation.

  • Combine multiple internal and external datasets to produce predictive models and actionable insights relevant to CPG trends

  • Collaborate with Data Scientists, Data Engineers, Product Managers, and other Data Analysts to design and build scalable, insight-driven data products

  • Translate analytical findings into narratives that inform clients about brand performance, category trends, and macro CPG market shifts.

  • Stay current on CPG industry developments, competitive dynamics, and consumer behavior trends to contextualize data insights.

  • Develop creative and intuitive ways to visually present data insights to clients

You will be successful in this role if you have:

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy

  • Deep understanding of the CPG industry

  • Strong proficiency in SQL to analyze and organize multiple large datasets

  • Experience with data modeling and statistical backtesting

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills – able to readily translate between technical and non-technical audiences

  • Passion for understanding consumer and retail behavior, particularly in CPG categories.

  • Ability to juggle multiple, rapidly evolving projects

  • Knowledge of Python or other programming languages a plus

  • Familiarity with alternative data is a plus

You will be successful at CE if you have:

  • A detail-oriented mindset

  • Ability to balance multiple priorities at once.

  • An internal sense of urgency and ability to meet strict deadlines.

  • Ability to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
