Our client, GAC Solutions Inc., is seeking a Google Cloud Platform SME to provide deep technical expertise in designing, implementing, and managing cloud solutions on Google Cloud Platform. This role involves driving cloud adoption, leading modernization efforts, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enable scalable, secure, and efficient cloud architectures. Key Responsibilities Design and implement core Google Cloud Platform technical architecture, low‑level design, and risk mitigation strategies. Guide teams on cloud‑based solutions, tools, and cultural transformation for cloud adoption. Work with Infrastructure and Cloud Ops teams to enable Landing Zones (LZ), project setup, and Google Cloud Platform migration tools. Collaborate with application and platform teams for modernization and migration to Google Cloud Platform. Technical Skills & Qualifications Expert‑level knowledge of Google Cloud Platform services and best practices. Certification: Google Cloud Professional certification (mandatory). Strong experience with Terraform/Ansible and CI/CD principles. Deep understanding of enterprise IT architecture, including virtualization, storage, HA, and DR. Hands‑on experience with SQL/NoSQL databases (Cloud SQL, BigQuery, Firestore, MongoDB). Programming: Java, Python scripting, HTML. Observability tools: Splunk, Dynatrace, Logging. Middleware & Messaging: IBM MQ, APIGEE, Google Pub/Sub, Apache Tomcat, WebSphere.
