About the Role Total Rehab Kids is seeking a passionate and dedicatedPediatric
Physical Therapist (PT) to join our growing team. In this role, you will evaluate, diagnose, and treat children with developmental, neurological, and orthopedic conditions in a supportive outpatient clinic setting. Our mission is to help children reach their highest potential through individualized, play-based therapy and family collaboration.
As a Pediatric PT at Total Rehab Kids, you'll develop personalized treatment plans, provide evidence-based interventions, and empower families with tools to support progress at home. You'll also collaborate with a multidisciplinary team-including occupational and speech therapists-to deliver family-centered care.
Minimum Qualifications - Doctor of Physical Therapy ( DPT ) degree from an accredited program.
- Current Texas Physical Therapy License or eligibility for licensure.
Preferred Qualifications - Experience in pediatrics, developmental disorders, or neurorehabilitation.
- Certification or training in pediatric-specific interventions (e.g., NDT, sensory integration).
- Bilingual in English/Spanish (a plus for family communication).
Key Responsibilities - Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations for children with a variety of diagnoses.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each child's needs.
- Use therapeutic play, functional activities, and age-appropriate exercises to improve mobility, coordination, and strength.
- Monitor progress and update treatment goals based on developmental milestones.
- Educate families and caregivers on home exercise programs, positioning, and mobility strategies.
- Collaborate with OTs, SLPs, physicians, and educators to provide integrated care.
