Job Description

Best Buy Ads is excited to invite applications for the position of Programmatic Sales Executive . In this role, you will be at the forefront of our agency partnerships, leveraging our valuable first-party data to drive high-impact digital campaigns. You'll become a trusted advisor to media agencies and advertisers, assisting them in navigating the programmatic landscape and optimizing their performance to meet key performance indicators (KPIs).

Your primary responsibilities will involve fostering strong relationships, driving programmatic adoption, and achieving revenue goals. This is a client-focused position where you will oversee onboarding and provide ongoing consultation and best practices. You will also work collaboratively with internal teams across sales, product, and analytics to ensure the success of our clients while contributing to the continuous improvement of our advertising solutions.

This role is eligible for remote work, allowing you to work from home or another non-Best Buy location. However, candidates should be located within a commutable distance to the Los Angeles metro area. Specific work arrangements may vary by role and team, and details will be provided during the hiring process.

What You'll Do:

  • Develop and nurture relationships with programmatic trading teams and in-house client teams to align platform capabilities with their goals.
  • Take ownership of accounts exclusively focused on programmatic advertising.
  • Achieve programmatic revenue targets consistently.
  • Collaborate with agency partnership team members to respond to requests for proposals (RFPs).
  • Create Deal IDs and facilitate audience sharing with advertisers.
  • Lead onboarding sessions, offer training, and develop support plans while sharing insights to encourage adoption.
  • Analyze campaign performance data to identify trends, troubleshoot, and recommend optimizations in partnership with our DSP allies.
  • Provide regular performance reports for both clients and internal teams.
  • Work with product and engineering teams to relay client feedback and support the rollout of beta features.
  • Contribute to enhancements in processes to improve the client experience.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in programmatic advertising sales or digital media consulting.
  • Proven ability to work directly with clients and agency account teams in a strategic or technical role.
  • Strong understanding of DSPs, ad technology, and campaign optimization.
  • Ability to analyze data and convey insights effectively.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in retail media or e-commerce advertising, with a familiarity for omni-channel marketing strategies.
  • Excellent presentation and communication abilities.
  • Experience with analytics platforms, Data Management Platforms (DMPs), or Customer Data Platforms (CDPs).
