We are seeking an experienced SAP Project Manager with strong expertise in SAP Supply Chain Management (SCM-APO) to lead end-to-end SAP implementation and upgrade projects. The ideal candidate will manage project scope, timelines, and budgets while ensuring seamless integration of SAP SCM modules to optimize business processes.
Required 10% travel to (Philadelphia or New Jersey location)
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning & Execution
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables aligned with business goals.
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies.
- Lead SAP SCM implementation or upgrade projects through the full lifecycle.
- Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with business leaders, IT teams, and external vendors.
- Maintain clear communication and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
- Supply Chain Expertise
- Oversee configuration and integration of SAP SCM modules (e.g., MM, PP, WM, EWM, primarily APO ).
- Ensure SAP solutions align with supply chain processes such as procurement, inventory, production planning, and logistics.
- Risk & Quality Management
- Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with SAP best practices and quality standards.
- Team Leadership
- Manage cross-functional teams, including consultants and technical experts.
- Provide guidance and resolve SAP-related issues during and post-implementation.
- Post-Implementation Support
- Oversee testing, training, and change management activities.
- Provide ongoing support and optimization for SAP SCM processes.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field .
- 5+ years of experience in SAP project management, with at least 3 years in SAP SCM modules .
- Strong knowledge of SAP modules: MM, PP, WM/EWM, APO .
- Project Management Certification (PMP, Prince2, or equivalent).
- Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, JIRA, etc.).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA and digital supply chain solutions.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
- SAP certification in SCM modules.
