Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity seeks experienced Special Education Teachers licensed in Virginia to support K-12 students in a public school setting. Positions are available at both the elementary and middle school levels with multiple openings, offering the chance to work in inclusive and self-contained classrooms. Para assistance is provided to support instructional delivery and student needs.

• Virginia Special Education Licensure (strictly no provisional licenses accepted)
• Experience teaching elementary and middle school students
• Ability to work collaboratively in inclusion and self-contained settings

Job Details:

• Location: Parksley, VA
• Contract Type: Full-time, Contract for current school year (CSY)
• Start Date: ASAP
• Elementary schedule: 8:00 am 4:00 pm
• Middle school schedule: 7:00 am 3:00 pm
• Days per week: 5

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality special education instruction tailored to student Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to promote inclusive learning environments
• Utilize para assistance effectively to enhance student engagement and outcomes
• Monitor and document student progress, adapting instruction as needed
